Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the International Advisory Board and of the Local Organization Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to participate in the 15th Barrande-Vltava French-Czech Chemistry Meeting on August 26–28, 2026, which will be held at the Paris-Saclay University in Orsay, located in close proximity to Paris.

The aim of the Barrande-Vltava Franco-Czech Chemistry Meetings is to offer young and established French and Czech researchers an annual forum on molecular and supramolecular chemistry in order to strengthen existing collaborations and foster new ones between French and Czech academic institutions, and to implement them within the framework of bilateral programs such as: the Hubert Curien “Barrande” exchange program (PHC), the French Embassy in the Czech Republic's joint doctoral fellowship, and the CNRS's international scientific cooperation project. The meetings include a two-day scientific program, which begins on Wednesday, end of the afternoon. A welcome reception will be organized in the evening after the welcome speech and two plenary lectures. The scientific program includes a combination of plenary and invited lectures delivered by senior faculty members and oral communications delivered by graduate students of both countries. In addition, numerous poster sessions will be organized in a friendly space and atmosphere, to enable participants to meet easily and establish initial contacts.

The topics covered encompass all aspects of molecular chemistry and reflect the diversity of research conducted in both countries: organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, coordination chemistry, organometallic chemistry, electrochemistry, photochemistry, theoretical chemistry, with applications in synthetic methodology and the synthesis of natural products, catalysis, molecular recognition and detection, biochemistry, materials science, molecular electronics and photonics, as well as imaging and therapy.

Schedule of the conference will be available soon (registration starts at 3 PM on Wednesday, August 26 /closing at 6 PM on Friday, August 28).

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Paris-Saclay in August 2026!
